Pool Filters

The job of the pool filter is to remove dirt and impurities from the water.  When you run your pool pump, the water is pushed through the filter and the clean water is returned to your pool.  The most common  pool filters use sand, or filter media. These are cleaned by running a backwash.  Cartridge filters are a good choice where space is tight.  These can be maintained by removing the cartridges and washing them with your garden hose.
